Learning to Listen

Avaliable Today

How will you shape our system of education for the better?

We all know that listening is a very sought-after skill. We always strive to find those who will listen to our ideas, our thoughts, and our feelings and yet it remains a skill that we need to continue to hone. Learning to Listen is a book about Jonathan’s journey in understanding the importance of listening to his experiences. He takes readers through his growth from being a new teacher, to a parent, to what he has learned through his journey as an educator. Through all of his personal anecdotes and experiences, Jonathan strives to have educators rethink, reevaluate, and reassess teaching practices. True listening is intentional. It has meaning and purpose. Each chapter invites you into his stories to connect and reflect on your own journey and practice. Lean in and listen. Listen not only to the words but how they speak to you as a person, as an educator, and as a human being.
