The Mindful Knight – Beginner

Join us on exciting quests through a medieval world as you are introduced to mindfulness practices. We'll focus on self-awareness, coping skills, and social management. You'll be asked to identify and name one's emotions and the influence on their behaviour. We'll also have discussions and activities around the ability to regulate emotions and making constructive choices about social interactions.

Embracing Indigenous Ways of Knowing and Doing with Minecraft: Education Edition Part 1

Students will learn from our educators, guest speakers, and the Minecraft: Education Edition world, Manito Ahbee Aki – an authentic learning experience.  The 3 lessons celebrate the heritage, diverse cultures and outstanding achievements of Indigenous Peoples across Canada.  Together, we’ll explore and learn more about the diverse communities within Canada and the strength of present-day Indigenous communities.  Lesson 1 will focus on understanding the significance and importance of the 4 sacred medicines – tobacco, sweetgrass, sage and cedar. Sustainable Food Production - Earth Week with Minecraft: Education Edition

Join us as we explore a part of Sustainability City created by Minecraft: Education Edition. Each co-taught lesson is 90-minutes and features an industry expert, knowledgeable about the sustainability lesson being taught!
